Applied online through their portal and received an interview invitation almost 5 weeks later.
The process consisted of 2 rounds:
First round was with 2 development managers and seemed like a behavioral interview, mainly focusing on past experiences and hypothetical situations.
The second interview was a week later and focused on 2 things: problem-solving and technical questions related to the job description and tools. The problems were easy to intermediate and used as a starting point for a small discussion about the topic. Then came some tools-related questions. These were for tools required in the job description for a cloud engineer. They were a bit detailed and sometimes dove deep into the topic, but the interviewers offered hints all the time when it was very specific and didn't seem like a dealbreaker.
A week later, I received a call from a development manager saying they would either send a date for a next interview or an offer. Two days later, I received the offer. Then it took around a month to get the contract after that.
On top of that, there's almost no room for negotiations. Recruiters don't have the power to do so, and any suggestions from the interviewee's side will take around a week to be approved or rejected.
Expect a very long wait until the first interview and around 4-6 weeks between the offer and contract signing. The actual process, from the first interview invitation to receiving an offer, lasted around 3 weeks.
Behavioral: focused on almost every past experience mentioned in the resume and what to do in specific situations.
Technical: Problem solving: binary search, stacks, and dynamic programming. Tools: Docker and Kubernetes.
