I started with a quick online assessment for SAP Concur, which included personal projects and technical/coding questions. It took less than an hour.

Two weeks later, I received an email for a Skype interview with one of the engineers. This interview focused on basic technical questions and a review of my resume. The interview went well, and the engineer told me about the internship program at SAP. Two days later, HR informed me that I was moving to the final interview round.

I had the Skype interview that same day with the Director of Development. This conversation was more big-picture, covering topics like DevOps, software design, and personal questions. After that interview, two weeks later, HR called to offer me the position. I was given a short timeframe to accept the offer (2 days). I accepted because I had heard good things about SAP from both interviewers and online reviews.

Heads up to other applicants: HR mentioned the first interview would be via Skype. I had put my phone on Do Not Disturb, but the interviewer called my phone and I missed it. We were able to reschedule, and it was fine, but this situation could have been easily avoided.
