I applied online and received a phone interview three weeks later. After another week, I had a one-on-one interview with the employer. Many technical questions were asked during the interview. I received the final decision three weeks after my last interview.

Pros: - Relaxed working environment.
- Lots of opportunities for learning.
- Experience can vastly differ from team to team, so you get the chance to move.
Cons: No cons. The company structure felt very top-down back then, and maybe not a lot of autonomy for individual teams.

Pros: Interesting work, professional co-workers, great benefits such as a lunch stipend and an in-company gym. As an intern, I felt treated like a real employee instead of an intern. A good place to intern at if you find a team that knows what they are doing.
Cons: Depends heavily on which team you are on. Some teams allow you to do meaningful work that follows industry standards, while some other teams do not. I'm interested in software development, but a lot of tech stacks are proprietary (understandable, since it's a corporation). There are not a lot of jobs related to SE in the Eastern US.
