Pros

Great work-life balance.

Repository of domain-agnostic and domain-specific learning.

Knowledge base of best practices.

Plenty of perks and facilities.

Cons

Managers take it personally if you want to leave the organization.

Unprofessional when it comes to intra-office matters.

Higher brass is closed to taking ideas and suggestions.

Politics.

Advice to Management

Try to refrain from being partial. I know it's human nature, but still.

Please ensure that even the newer candidates are heard. You might not take up their idea, but it is important for them to grow and take up newer roles. Being dismissive doesn't help.

Take criticism positively; it's the only way to learn what went wrong and how to do things right. If someone feels that things can be done differently, it doesn't imply that they hate the organization.

Try not to take things personally. An employee leaving for what he or she perceives as greener pastures doesn't mean that the manager should cold shoulder them as if we've wronged them.
