Pros

SAP's brand image and the respect you get.

Fair and liberal employer, and all policies are centered around employee well-being.

Option to rate your manager and leadership, unlike other places where only employees are rated.

Benefits that pamper employees:

  • Free food
  • Unlimited beverages
  • Free transport
  • Team dinners
  • Events like Family Day
  • Stock options for all grades
Cons

Pace of growth is slow. It usually takes a minimum of 2 years for progression and more years to move from one career level to another, depending on the grade you are in.

We tend to get into a loving comfort zone, where attending another interview feels like a chore.

Some policies do not trickle down effectively.

Advice to Management

A charter for career progression and change of career levels would help employees plan their careers.
