I am a Senior Lead Software Engineer for the EIM team, working on the Server component of SAP Data Services and SAP Information Steward products. I have the opportunity to train and mentor junior engineers to help increase their skill sets.
SAP also has some of the best benefit packages I have seen. Sure, we could always ask for more, but those would be trivial items and not really needed.
Training and mentoring have always been mentioned for growth, but most of the time it is a learn-as-you-go approach. This makes you a follower, as you end up 'following the others,' which makes it more difficult to be a true leader.
First, thank you for the opportunity to work for a great company. I truly do enjoy working at SAP!
If I had to provide a request for improvement, I would suggest making the mentoring program more open and available. I love the fact SAP has spent so much on mentoring women and growing their skills, but there are still men who are capable and would like to see a diverse mentoring program that can really elevate the company to the next level!
The interview process was the most harrowing experience. I was not local to where the position was based, and the position apparently did not provide relocation. Despite this, I was moved along the interview process. After completing one phone interv
I received a call through a third-party recruiter, and an interview was arranged two days later with SAP. There were two F2F technical rounds and one project manager round. The interview was completed in one day, and I received an offer.
The interview process included: * Two rounds of technical interviews. * Two rounds of functional interviews. * Followed by two managerial rounds. * An interview with the Senior Vice-President of the Line of Business. * The last round was with HR.
