Work-life balance. People are nice and friendly.
Projects are boring, and very few to none career advancement opportunities.
I applied online for a position in Vancouver. It was a two-week process, with a phone screen with behavioral questions, and then an in-person technical interview afterward, with typical technical questions (algorithms, etc).
I was asked in detail about the projects I have done, as well as for unexpected knowledge of recent technologies. There were many questions to test the actual understanding of a language. Some technical coding questions followed.
Behavior question (30 mins) + technical question (30 mins): General and classic behavior questions, but hard to predict. Technical questions included: * 1 Java debug * 1 SQL * 1 linear searching algorithm
