Process

I recently had a phone call with the HR department, and unfortunately, the experience left me quite disappointed. After answering some standard questions, I moved on to explaining my decision to work for this company. I provided honest and genuine arguments, emphasizing that I was looking for a stable workplace where I could earn a fair salary and, most importantly, focus on doing what I love – software development.

However, instead of engaging positively or encouraging my interest, the HR representative seemed determined to dissuade me from considering this company. Despite my enthusiasm, they did their best to argue that I might be better suited for a younger, more modern startup environment. It felt as if they were trying to talk me out of the opportunity altogether, which was both surprising and frustrating.

While I appreciate their perspective, the overall tone of the conversation made me question the company’s approach to recruiting and its commitment to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for potential employees. This interaction left me with the impression that this might not be the right place to grow professionally, despite my initial interest.
