Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - India

August 1, 2024
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The interviews were fine. They took around 2 months and involved 4-5 interviews. The process could have been expedited.

At the end, they called to discuss compensation and offered a lower position (on-call). There was no official email, and they never followed up.

They could have inquired about expectations at the start. If there was a mismatch, time could have been saved for both the candidate and the interviewer.
