I interviewed for the Senior Software Engineer position on the Vulnerability Response team. The recruiter was awesome. He gave me all the information about the position.
The first call was with the recruiter. The second was a video and technical screen share with the manager and architect.
The manager asked me to give an introduction, talk about my resume, discuss a technical difficulty I faced, and answer questions about REST APIs, specifically the difference between PUT and POST.
The architect was really rude to me. She asked a design question which she didn’t explain properly. When I asked her to clarify it, she just repeated the same thing and was silent the whole time I was solving it. After that, when I asked her my questions, she was giving just one-line replies. It felt like she wasn’t in the mood for the interview. A complete waste of time.
