Software QA Engineer Interview Experience - Amsterdam, Netherlands

Process

ServiceNow is a great product, and that's what attracted me to the company.

The process initiated after I applied online in March 2019 and continued for a good five months, until July 2019.

My overall experience, in one word, was 'pathetic.' They were very disrespectful in almost every aspect of the interview. The only sunny side was the three-hour interaction with the panel members.

Process:

  • Mail from HR about 1-hour availability.
  • Discussion with HR about your current projects, and they explain what ServiceNow is. They ask you to complete an assignment in two weeks.
  • Completed the assignment and posted it.
  • Call for a three-hour technical discussion.
  • Answered all questions and ended the call with a positive experience.
  • Wait for four months. You mail on and off. They respond on and off.
  • In the fifth month, you get a rejection mail. This is at a different level.

My biggest mistake: Though I had seen some interview reviews on Glassdoor with similar pathetic experiences, I still applied.
