Highly unprofessional company.

I was contacted by a recruiter through LinkedIn.

She described the job profile, etc., and insisted very hard to schedule a phone screen for the coming Friday itself. She claimed that if successful, the in-person interview would happen on the very next day (i.e., Saturday).

She scheduled a phone screen for Friday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

Now, the fun begins.

No call from any interviewer by 10:00 AM. I called the recruiter back to inform that nobody had called yet, and she said, "I am on my way to the office – I will get back to you by TODAY EVENING."

Mark my words – TODAY EVENING.

No response post that.

Two months passed.

Then, one fine day, she called again and asked to schedule an interview.

I simply declined.

Seriously, their "TODAY" means two months.
