RSU is the only thing which was good in the India office.
This is a manager's pet company where you are a horse with a lot of nuts until the solution is scoped. After that, your work will be taken, and someone else will be traveling to convince that it's their achievement to showcase. With higher management in place, those guys who didn't even contribute a single line will teach you about the work you spent around 12-16 hours every day on. To surprise you more, when you question them, they will tell you that who told you to write PPTs and documents, literally meaning don't present your work, don't log what you do, be a pet of your manager in a technology company, and stink like them with no ethics.
Not sure why they are hiring managers when there are engineers who can self-manage. If they don't perform, anyhow they will be fired, so not sure why a need for managers in India where ethics does not exist.
Hire a tech architect who can lead with example and keep track of work.
Let tech guys report to Directors and architects in the US. Stop hiring managers in the India office.
