Engineering Manager Interview Experience - Dublin, Ireland
Process
I had two interviews there, both remote using Google Meet.
The first one was a one-hour coding exercise.
The second was composed of two one-hour interviews: Life Story and Management Life Story.
After the second interview, I never received any feedback. I emailed twice after a few weeks, but received no answer to either of those emails.
After three hours of my time, I would expect at least one generic email to say I didn't pass, if that's what happened, instead of just ignoring a candidate.
Questions
The life story section was general, covering why you studied this career, how you ended up in the role, and what you like or dislike about it.
The management interview included generic situational and experience-based questions.
