Pros: - Autonomy - Great pay & benefits - Lots to learn - Lots of technical variety - Overall company stated culture is great - Good resume booster - Unlimited vacation package that works - Work/life balance is around or above average - Flexible compensation

Cons: - Lack of direction. - Sub-teams may not match the culture presented by the company. - More product/project management than people management and mentorship. - Have to work to find support or mentorship. - Mentorship doesn't come from people you interact with regularly. - Everyone cares most about making themselves look good over making good software. - Lack of process means a lot of re-doing work or committing to things with a lot of unknowns. - Mostly a waterfall-style project structure, so if you thrive in Agile and working closely with teams during the whole process of feature development, then this process will be a big change.

Pros: - Opportunity to work with great people. - Lots of opportunities to work on cool stuff if you're in the right team and at the right time. - Treat people like fellow humans and offer great benefits with great work-life balance.

Cons: - Very top-down. Power concentrates at the top. Everything you do needs approval from the top. - Communication is bad because leadership is stuck in limbo between being transparent and being secretive. - Low compensation. - Decisions take a very long time due to constant change in the organizational structure. - Things move slowly. It looks fast, but progress is actually slow. I don't actually know why; maybe because of bureaucracy, lack of resources, or lack of focus.
