Like many people, I'd heard a lot about how Shopify rethinks its business practices, specifically by eliminating meetings. When a recruiter reached out via LinkedIn, I was intrigued to explore the opportunity.
However, they arranged a short interview with the hiring manager without a preliminary screening call. In retrospect, this was a poor process to agree to, as it meant we covered some rather basic topics. Consequently, I wasn't able to delve into full, meaningful discovery or discussion.
