The pairing interview is definitely different from other companies. I'm not sure what the life story portion is about; it feels more like a popularity contest than anything.

Exactly what they advertise it as. The first interview is mainly just asking lifestyle questions, nothing really technical unless you lead the conversation that way. This is alright if the interviewer is talkative. It can be very misleading, though;
