I applied online for an internship position on their website. I had to solve a task and pitch some ideas to improve Shopify, along with my application. After three weeks, I received a call from the recruiter stating that my resume had been selected.

I submitted my application along with an application challenge and secured a Life Story interview within a week. The Life Story interview was a personality test and an experience review. It did not include any technical questions.

Exactly what they advertise it as. The first interview is mainly just asking lifestyle questions, nothing really technical unless you lead the conversation that way. This is alright if the interviewer is talkative. It can be very misleading, though;
