Pros: Working for a top company in the world. Engineering managers are generally flexible with working hours when it comes to life events, doctor's appointments, sick days, etc. They will also stand behind you and your decisions when discussing options with higher-level management. I generally always felt supported.
Cons: Big company red tape. Decisions have to go through so many channels. It is difficult to get things done in a timely manner. Plans constantly change, almost on an hourly basis, on the shop floor. Very difficult to get ahead. Always "behind the 8 ball." Salary level is a bit low, and the rate of increase is even across the plant. Working significantly harder than others does not yield an increase any higher.
