Java Engineer Interview Experience - Noida, India

Process

The most pathetic interview process ever. They only make fools of people and waste their time.

Don't waste time!

  1. A recruiter called and told me about the package they would offer.
  2. The first interview was on a weekend and lasted the whole day, after which I was told I was selected.
  3. Then, I was asked to come in on a weekday for one more round. I missed work to attend.
  4. After a few days, they asked me to come for another "final" interview, again on a weekday. I felt bad, but because of the effort I had already made, I went.
  5. The recruiter called me afterwards and said, "Congratulations, you're in and will get an offer letter in a few days." But they offered much less than what the recruiter initially told me and the interviewer confirmed. Even then, I said yes.
  6. When I didn't get the letter for about a week, I called the recruiter and found out that they had changed their mind. This is how EMETER/SIEMENS operates.

The most pathetic interview process ever. They wasted about 3 weeks of my life. God bless them!
