Process
It didn't take long.
Firstly, I made the application for engineering jobs at Siemens in general. Then, I was invited to carry out the usual psychometric tests. After that, someone from HR contacted me about specific opportunities at Siemens. I applied for the manufacturing engineer job at Oxford. Lastly, I was invited to the assessment centre with 19 other students.
The assessment centre consisted of:
- A 5-minute presentation about anything I was interested in.
- An intray exercise.
- Two other work-related group exercises.
Out of the 20 students, they chose 8 for the final interview. I wasn't one of them.
