Pros

Nice working environment, both facility and people. Very clean and respectful work environment.

Compensation is competitive.

Good benefits. Better than average vacation time depending on tenure.

A lot of career opportunity, particularly if you are open for relocation.

Cons

Most departments are understaffed, and many employees are asked to cover unmanageable scopes.

There's limited opportunity to advance within the same department due to certain corporate compensation policies.

Certain managers are more interested in managing their own careers as opposed to managing the business.

Advice to Management

Be careful for what you wish for. Reward employees for meeting cost-saving efforts or deadlines, and they will do whatever is necessary to satisfy those demands at any cost, regardless of the collateral damage. The employees know that is what is recognized, and it ends up costing the company more in the long term than was ever saved.
