General staff enjoyable to work with. Technically challenging.
Highly political, to the point of almost high school "click" groups. Special privileged employees based on management friends.
Service ops management is Jekyll and Hyde type. Tells you what you want to hear, then stabs you after you're out of sight. Chased away employees with 15+ years in the company, withheld promotions and raises based on friends.
Get rid of service ops management and start over.
Get back to customer focus, and not internal focus.
Recognize long-term employees.
Siemens does not leave a stone unturned to select the best candidate. The selection ratio is very low, although hundreds of quality candidates compete for one seat.
Good people mostly went over my resume and previous projects, and then a little about me. They explained what specific duties the job would require. Overall, a smooth process and a good experience.
The interview process was good. It involved a technical round, followed by an MR (Manager Round) which was also technical as the manager was technically proficient. The third round was a partner round with the client. Finally, there was an HR round.
