Politics, overhead, and too many dysfunctional internal processes. Constant upper/senior management turnover with a lack of long-term focus. Innovation and thinking out of the box are constantly crushed by an over-powerful accounting department. There is a lack of overall good company culture. Sometimes toxic US/German competition.
Focus on the customer. Innovate. Create a real ownership culture. Replace all those unnecessary and over-complicated internal processes that kill engineering productivity.
