Work in Pune is mostly maintaining old technologies by fixing bugs and doing small enhancements.
The managers in Pune have created their own territory, and they frown upon people moving out or coming in. Some managers value their ego more than employees' ambitions. Team change is extremely tough, and sometimes the only way to get a team change is through resignation. Worst of all, management in the US blindly believes the managers in Pune and never does a skip-level review.
Advice to Pune Management: Help employees to change teams instead of becoming a bottleneck.
