Huge, worldwide organization with all the related pros. A great choice to extend one's communication and language experience and find people with respectful professional backgrounds to crystallize one's technical interests and know-how. Theoretically unlimited resources for professional development. Clean and relatively well-organized infrastructural background.
In my case, some of the manager colleagues who filled responsible positions in the organization hierarchy above me were weak in their professional and business experience. They could not stand for their people and went into the bushes for some personal gain.
I know now that it was more the result of a special case; however, in a concern like Siemens, with German quality and assets, it should never happen, as there is no real reason for it.
I would focus more on selecting real talents in all segments and organizations.
More focus on innovation and creatives and free choice of further career opportunities with well-respected colleges.
- HR interview: Usual basic stuff. - Technical interview with live coding: Live coding interview with a frontend-heavy assignment. - Team fit interview: Very basic questions from the team, very basic answers from me.
After submitting my CV, a few days later I got a call and was offered an interview. At the interview, I was given technical and situational questions. I was also asked about my previous experiences with CAM, turning, and milling.
The whole process contained multiple rounds. There was a phone call involving several questions. We talked for quite a few minutes. The interviewer seemed kind and nice and was enthusiastic during the call. Everything was as expected.
