I applied through a recruiter.
The recruiters of this company "deeply" care about how your employment ended in your previous company. Once you give them your transparent response, they will play along until the allotted interview time elapses, closing the interview on a high note on how meaningful your profile is to Sierra. A week later, you will receive an automated email stating that no potential matches were found for your profile!
Speaking about me, I decided to be transparent because I intentionally want to avoid working for any company that discriminates against employees who were part of mass layoffs. In the current scenario, where almost every company is performing mass layoffs to book record profits and please shareholders, companies like Sierra are busy finding rabbit holes instead of being sympathetic and evaluating candidates based on their technical merit. Speaks a lot about the culture at Sierra! Good luck to my fellow candidates.
How did your last employment end? Did you leave the company or get laid off?
