The worst recruiting process I have had in my life!

I was contacted four months after sending my application. The first interview was a friendly video chat with an HR representative.

After that, I was invited to a second interview (also video), which was supposed to be a technical session with the hiring manager. It was intended to be a live coding challenge, for which I prepared very seriously.

On the day of the interview, the hiring manager showed up one hour after the scheduled time. He stated that HR had messed up with the timing. The interview turned out to be a discussion where I had to present myself, with no live coding challenge.

After that, I was invited to an onsite interview composed of four interviews in a row, starting at 9:00 AM and finishing at 3:00 PM. This interview was rescheduled four times over a month, with less than 48 hours' notice each time.

The four interviews were technical and extremely difficult, featuring plenty of challenging and tricky questions. I wonder why, as they were completely disconnected from the reality of a day-to-day embedded software engineer's life.

At the end of the day, I knew I wouldn't get the job, but I never received feedback. Not even an automatic message.
