Process
The first interviewer was late, but otherwise okay. The system design was straightforward, straight out of an Alex Xu book.
The coding interview was a disaster. The interviewer wouldn't clarify the requirements to the overly complicated question and finally did so 40 minutes in, when it was too late.
I told the recruiter I was no longer interested in moving forward. If I cannot get a straight answer gathering requirements in an interview, how can I possibly hope to trying to collaborate on the job? It was a major red flag.
