I worked hard at Snap, 10 AM - 8 PM every day, plus I replied to messages/emails after work hours. My manager never complained about my performance.
Suddenly, I got an email in the morning asking me to pack my personal stuff and leave the company.
Management used to say we are a family during all-hands meetings. It turned out that's how they treat their family.
Be transparent to employees. Collect opinions within the company.
