Steps have been outlined by many people. I will add that the key with Snapchat is being able to take a fairly vague problem statement and add your own constraints to it, as well as being able to test it with your own test cases.
Resume screen, then straight to interviews (two back-to-back technicals). Mostly graph problems with DFS and backtracking. First 10-15 minutes: brief intro + behavioral, then 40 minutes coding. Super nice interviewers.
