30 min 1:1 with hiring manager - quick overview of my experience and what I'm looking for.

Take-home technical test. Took me about 90 minutes to complete.

90 min chat and pairing exercise with 2 engineers. They will ask questions about the take-home test and ask you to make some changes depending on what you have done. You should not have a problem clearing it; they leave more than enough time to make the changes, even for someone who is nervous about live coding exercises. My chat with the engineers and exercise was done in 70 minutes, and there was still another 20 minutes available if it took longer.

45 min chat with the director of engineering about company values. Read up on Snyk's values and try to think about times that you have done those things previously, as it will 100% come up.

20 min follow-up chat with the recruiter.

Common SE questions and more about your background. You should not find anything surprising; it's mostly from what's on your CV.

Good: Process was quick and everything went smoothly.

Bad: At the end, I was not offered the job that I applied for but a lower-level role, which they knew from the start that I would not accept. They have wasted my time reeling me in to something that they knew I would not accept to begin with.
