HR contacted me and conducted a brief screening before moving me to the next rounds. Here's the funny part: HR was very friendly and good-natured.
I was told by HR that the first round would be a HackerRank React Debugging round. However, the interviewer surprised me by asking classic React/JS edge case scenarios.
Because of the surprise element, I fumbled a little on the first question, but the rest of the questions were smooth and correct.
I believe they found someone who answered well. I was prepped for a HackerRank round.
It is disappointing that I was rejected due to communication errors on their side.
No one cared, and an offer was rescinded on the same day (from a different company).
