You are surrounded by a lot of smart people. Most of the people in the engineering staff are very helpful, friendly, and welcoming to new hires.
There was a leadership crisis. Most team leads are not qualified to lead. There is no clear communication between leader and follower. Most managers don't know how to manage.
Arrange some sort of leadership training or workshop. Make sure that the managers know how to manage. The internal culture is wonderful, and it is a great place to work.
