Process

Recruiter Interview [phone]:

A few basic behavioral questions and then we went down through my resume to discuss my experiences. It was a straightforward interview, and the interviewer was incredibly nice. He helped me through the rest of the interview process.

Coding Test [online]:

Four questions:

  • Write a simple algorithm to do X.
  • Here's a brute-force algorithm; you should optimize it.
  • Write an efficient algorithm to do Y.
  • Debug the following code by changing less than four lines.

Technical Interview [phone]:

This interview was with the lead engineer on the team. When emailing about this, they said to prepare to discuss my personal technical achievements, but rather I was quizzed on networking, knowledge of Python/multi-threading, and operating systems. The only question about my professional experience was to ask me what I was most proud of on my resume.
