I applied online.
40 minute long call with an engineer. First, we mainly talked about my experience within a technical organization. Followed up with rapid-fire technical questions and then he asked for any questions from me. We had some extra time left over and he gave me the opportunity to talk about the next most important on my resume.

You have a beam that is rigidly supported on both sides. How much does the deflection change if you have a point load in the middle compared to a uniform load across the beam?
