Engineering Intern Interview Experience - Bastrop, Texas
Process
Two phone interviews were conducted.
The first was an in-depth discussion of an engineering project of my choice.
The second interview focused purely on ME technical questions. Topics covered included material science, mechanics of materials, kinematics, among others.
Questions
If a large, heavy plate of uniform mass is placed on top of three beams of the same dimensions (the outer two are made of aluminum and the middle is made of steel), describe the loads acting on each beam.
