Applied to SpaceX online in September 2023.
Was contacted in December 2023 for a 30-minute phone screening with a project manager.
The screening was very simple; I was asked about my past projects, greatest achievements, career interests, and leadership skills.
I had a different pending offer with a 5-day deadline, which I told HR about.
I wasn't hopeful that they would meet that deadline, but I heard back within that week that I got the job—no second interview or anything.
