I had phone interviews, an in-person presentation, and one-on-one interviews. After I passed the technical phone calls, I went to LA for in-person interviewing.
The presentation was 30 minutes long, and then I was asked about it during subsequent interviews.

Pros: You get insane autonomy to go take on a project, and the result is that you put something in space. Equity compensation is rather competitive.
Cons: Long hours, changing priorities, and inflexible workplace requirements that make it hard to work from home, etc.

Great opportunity to make history, but work-life suffers

Pros: Playing a part in making history, and the stock. Learn from the smartest people in the industry.
Cons: You will be working almost nonstop and lose your ability to become a well-rounded person. Engineering management is often delusional and does not care about employee well-being, only results. Management is often unable to mentor newer engineers effectively, leading to new engineers performing poorly.
