One phone screen with a recruiter, then a phone call with an engineer on the team. I am still in the interview process as of now.
The first round had general mechanics of materials questions, along with being asked why I want to work for SpaceX. They also asked me to describe my most technical challenge that I solved.

Pros: Fast pace, forward-thinking company. At SpaceX, you are given freedom (in my experience). This works great for some, but can be a limitation for others. Note that I had worked here for 5 years, and I worked at a "competitor" (using that term loosely); so, I am biased and returned because I missed the energy and my team.
Cons: Location. However, it is worth the hassle of the commute.

Pros: You get insane autonomy to go take on a project, and the result is that you put something in space. Equity compensation is rather competitive.
Cons: Long hours, changing priorities, and inflexible workplace requirements that make it hard to work from home, etc.
