Recovery Engineer Interview Experience - Cape Canaveral, Florida

Process

Phone screen with recruiter. Some technical and behavioral questions.

Phone interview with hiring manager. Technical questions and details about the position, role, and expectations. I think I just scraped by, so I got an extra step:

'Test Interview' where I had 2 hours to complete a technical question set directly relating to the role (recovery). This set did not have an exact solution, rather it tested for comprehension of multiple problems and the ability to quickly obtain solutions.

In-person interview @ Cape Canaveral. Brief technical test (making sure you took the prior assessments), then a panel presentation and technical questions. This was the most uncomfortable, since I was asked questions in ways that were not standard or related to my field or the position. A panel interview followed up by a tour of facilities (best part of the whole process).

After all of these interviews (nearly 10 hours with employees across all of them), I was given a generic rejection response :(
