I reached out to a recruiter, and they got back to me with pre-screening, then two technical phone interviews. I didn't go onsite as they rejected me after the second technical phone interview. I didn't answer incorrectly, but the interviewer didn't like the way I responded. Then the recruiter got back, saying they were looking for significantly more experience—three to four times the amount listed on the job description. If so, why didn't they screen me out during pre-screening? Obviously, it wasn't the recruiter's decision but the interviewer's and/or the engineering team's. Glad I got another offer with potentially better pay and much, much better work-life balance, as I heard from reliable sources that this place works employees to death with low pay. What a relief! Good luck, guys!
The questions were simple. They didn't really ask about the things listed on the job description, for which I had enthusiastically prepared myself.
