Process

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks.

  • Phone interview with recruiter.
  • Two phone interviews with engineers. Mostly talked about my recent accomplishments and strength, and discussed about the new role.
  • In person interview. 1 hour of presentation and questions from the panel. This was followed by 4-5 hours of one-on-one interviews that was purely technical. The one-on-one interview questions were a mix of technical content: deriving physics equations, discussing possible flight termination logics, plotting physical properties of the rocket during flight, statistics questions, and random brain teasers.

Questions

Derive the XXX equation and explain all assumptions.

What happens if you add YYY physical properties? What if your assumption is ZZZ instead?
