Pros: So many great people to work with, lots of cool problems to solve, and many opportunities to touch all the modern areas of software development. The pay is very good, and the benefits are generous.
Work-life balance is good.
Cons: Upper management is combative, aggressive, and short-sighted, often putting their own ideas in front of the engineering team's recommendations. Many of them use divide-and-conquer tactics to pit people against one another. It's maybe the most toxic management culture I've ever been involved in. Often, it is hard to even come up with a good reason to engage with them, except for not wanting to get shouted at later.
