Performance Engineer Interview Experience - San Jose, California

Process

Horrible process.

Splunk recruiters need to learn how to communicate. They don't respect your time at all. All the bad reviews in GD are real.

I never spoke to the recruiter until days after the interview. Most of the time I was communicating with the coordinator, who had no idea what he was doing but was nice enough to point me to the right people. The recruiter, on the other hand, was very hard to get a hold of. I had to email him multiple times, and he finally responded and offered to call me on Saturday.

He said the interview went okay, but they still had to get some more feedback from the interviewer and mentioned that he would get back to me the following Monday, but never did.

The company seems to be great, but the whole recruitment process seems to be very much below average.
