In Round 1, I had two leadership interviews: one with a hiring manager and another with the Head of Reliability Insights, who previously worked at Amazon.

Unfortunately, the second interviewer was dismissive. He yawned during our conversation and seemed critical of every response I gave. It felt as though he expected candidates to have only big tech experience, and his reactions, like eye rolls and head shakes, left me feeling drained and discouraged.

Despite this experience, I’d still recommend interviewing with Stripe for its strong business value. Just stay resilient if you encounter similar individuals.
