Process

The process overall was very positive, even though I wasn't successful. I didn't make it past the phone screen, but the whole process is very widely documented.

1st Round: 30-minute call with the recruiter. It was very positive, very detailed, and really left me excited for the rest of the interview.

2nd Round: A 1-hour call with another engineer where you solve a real-world problem. In the phone screen and tech screen, they made it very clear that it wouldn't be algorithms or LeetCode-type questions; it would be a real-world problem.

The phone screen is done part by part. You are given the first part, and once you solve that, you are given the second part, and so on. It progressively gets more difficult.

The question wasn't difficult, but I was a bit rusty for interviews, so I got confused and tripped myself up.

I received the result, a generic rejection, 24 hours later, which made it easier to move on to other opportunities.

Questions

A real-world question: given two lists, find the overlap and order the output based on the requirements in the problem statement and any requirements later added by the interviewer.
