I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week.
A recruiter reached out to me for a phone screening interview to discuss my experience and what I am looking for. Afterwards I was invited for a live coding interview, which I scheduled.
A few days before the coding interview I got a generic rejection email. I reached out to the recruiter to get some clarity but received no response. Day of the interview arrived, I did my interview and so on, thought maybe there was an error?
Then an hour after the interview the recruiter responded to my email that I am not a fit for any of their current open roles and encourage me to apply again in 6-12 months lol
The engineer who interviewed me was nice and the question was not difficult, just long with many moving parts, I left feeling good. The recruiter, however, kinda damper the experience.
A CSV input to parse, validate, and print. It kept building with more logic to add.
