Process
Initial application.
Code screen: Had to solve a technical problem, with a focus on design rather than runtime.
1st round: A standard live coding interview.
2nd round: Two interviews.
- One focused on integrating new code into an existing codebase.
- The other focused on building something from scratch.
3rd round: A chat with a Stripe manager.
This was the best interview process among all the companies I interviewed at. I really liked the emphasis on writing readable and maintainable code. The questions were thoughtful and more relevant to daily software engineering tasks than random LeetCode problems. All interviewers were friendly and helpful, which I also enjoyed.
