The interview process at Stripe was unique.

Instead of simply tossing out online algorithmic assessments like most other companies, Stripe's assessment seemed designed to reflect a software engineer's day-to-day responsibilities. It evaluated candidates on "truer" metrics like code maintainability and readability, something I appreciated greatly.

Through my written correspondence with the company, I also formed the impression that Stripe cared as much about the process as candidates did.

Overall, I think Stripe has a great recruitment process and, through it, have come to be very impressed by the company as a whole.
